This is a real busy week, with loads happening...here's a snapshot of the events this week
Upcoming deadlines
1) Math Mate is to be turned in every Thursday. Review divisibility tests done in class.
2) Continue to research on the Mikumi animal you chose. Soon we will have a class full of experts! Please remember the fact file is only two pages and it has to include all the elements outlined in the handout(glued in your journal)! Good luck to all of you. The deadline for the fact files to be handed is Friday 28th August. We will be laminating the fact files and taking them with us to Mikumi!
3) Bring in any folktale that you may want to share with the class.
4) Hand in all the forms ( Mikumi risk assessment, consent forms and permission slip)duly signed by Thursday 20 August.
5) Chat with your parents about items you intend to bring for the bake sale and share with them the purpose of this bake sale. We are also looking for parent volunteers to help with the bake sale organization.
6)In order to secure resident rates or Tanzanian citizen rates for entrance to Mikumi and Udzungwa National parks can I please request that you bring in :
a photocopy of your residents' permit with your name clearly listed on the permit
OR
if you are a Tanzanian citizen, a photocopy of your passport ...just the page stating personal details and nationality. Please hand these documents in by Monday 24th August.
